Title: OFFTOPIC Fun
Post by: raxo2222 on March 21, 2011, 07:22:26 AM
I found fun code on internet (wykop.pl)

javascript:var i,s,ss=['http://kathack.com/js/kh.js','http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.5.1/jquery.min.js'];for(i=0;i!=ss.length;i++){s=document.createElement('script');s.src=ss[ i];document.body.appendChild(s);}void(0);
(remove a space from script ^ here)
Copy above code and paste it to adres window in your browser NOT search window, wait a chwile

When you do it corretly it show a ball which grows when you roll around warious websities

I made a space before i]
becouse this stupid forum auto ITALICIZATION corrupted a script, in script was [ i] (without spaces) ant it turned into this ITALICIZED, corrupting a script

I copied it to Aveyond forum, originally it was here: http://www.wykop.pl/link/672169/zabawa-jest-przednia/
I nicknamed it Tasty Website in Offtopic forum, due to Katamari nature
This is a Polish website, throw it into Google Translate
Wykop.pl is Polish wariation of http://digg.com/news <----this English website

Yeah, I tried a few sites. Very neat.

Btw, the code you posted doesn't work for me - probably a formatting issue when posting it in the forum. I grabbed it straight from http://kathack.com/ and it works.

As I post above, ITALICIZATION destroyed a script - it was "[ i]" (delete spaces) in script, and ITALICIZED everything after it.

The closest ones that I know of:
-Fishy (flash game)
-Feeding Frenzy (also has a sequel)
-The Wonderful End of The World (3d, very Katamari-like)

Is there a full scale game (from atoms to universe) like tasty planet?

First 2 games has just too small scale (small fish - big fish)
third is too colorful and nowhere I can find full version of it.

I don't know of any other games. Katamari is the only other one, and it isn't available on Windows/Mac (also it doesn't go from atoms to universe).

Yeah, you eat planets or stars or something... I just remember it was kind of funky because it still played as if you were rolling around on a sphere.

Their story could actually make sense if you ate the whole universe (the last thing you eat would be the King of All Cosmos).

You atcally do roll up the king of all cosmos. In fact,in that`s one of the goals in katamari forever...

Yes, and he's huge. 20 million kilometres needed in diameter to roll him up. It still tracks even millimetres at that size though. Of course, tasty planet dwarfs it.

Oh yeah, actually I do remember that level. He's kind of just lying there.

But it`s hard to roll him up.You have to get to a size and then you have to locate him. :)

i never did manage to get a working ps2 emulator...
and when i did, it crashed before i beat level one. on an old game. so it shouldn't be very buggy like new games. but it was.
