Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds / Hovershield
« on: February 18, 2012, 01:02:37 AM »
Hovershield is IMPOSSIBLE. I have tried the arrow keys and the mouse. I have watched the video dozens of times. I have tried to beat it almost 100 times and I can't do it. It's too hard! The stupid excuse for a shield always turns sideways, and I have to be super lucky to even get to anything. I have only gotten to the second group of solar panels once, and have never gotten further. Someone HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can beat and gold Machinelaser Hard in about 10 or so tries, why is this one harder!?!?

Off Topic / Puzzle Mode
« on: February 08, 2012, 11:24:48 PM »
I think that TP3 should have a puzzle mode. You have to use your brain to get to the food, so it's more complex than just "eat everything". Each puzzle would be harder than the last. Some would require extreme thinking. It's good to combine this game with something that would improve kids' problem-solving skills. Tasty Planet + Variation + Education = Very good game.

I hope this persuaded you to at least consider a puzzle mode.

Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds / Song Chances
« on: February 08, 2012, 10:13:49 PM »
I find the subject of probability in programming interesting.

Why is it that one song (the one that is kind of "fast" with the repeated melody and the cymbals crashing in the background) is the song played half of the time on the iOS version? Also, your update said something about a new song, but it doesn't seem to exist.

Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds / Tasty Planet App Bug
« on: February 06, 2012, 11:17:55 PM »
My game crashed twice...

It crashed during the levels "Roman Rats" and "Are You Not Entertained?". Please try to fix!

Also, why are "Gooturistic" and "Googyptian" on the Leaderboards?

Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds / Tasty Planet Dino Time and BFS ?

I loved the last level in your BFS Flash Game. That was really creative.
Are there any "zoom-outs" in the iOS TP: BFS game?

Off Topic / My TP3 Burning Desires

-Survival Mode
-Few to No "Hard" Levels
-Competitive and Co-operative Multiplayer
-My "City Chaos" Level Idea from the "Tasty Planet 3 (three) Plot/Level Names: Area 1" Topic, Page 7
-SplitScreen Multiplayer
-Achievements

Survival Mode: This mode is single or double player. Each level starts out with eight goos (including human-controlled goos). You try to be the last goo standing. This would count as competitive multiplayer. Each goo earns a certain amount of points based on it's performances, like in Mario Kart.

Few to No Hard Levels: I disliked the "Hard" levels, because they either were extremely frustrating or the same as the original.

Competitive Multiplayer: Be the first goo to finish! This would be human-controlled goos only.

Split Screen: Straightforward. I think the goos can follow a path of their own, but the other goo could appear in a player's screen if they get close enough together.

Achivements: Some built-in achievements would be nice.

I had to quit playing Tasty Planet iOS because I wanted these so bad!

Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds / Hard Gold Medals
« on: February 02, 2012, 02:36:19 AM »
Fast Eggs- A level filled with frustration. How could you possibly protect EVERY SINGLE EGG!?!?
Fast Eggs Hard- Same reasons above, plus deadly Maiasuari!
Dinogoo- I ALWAYS get silver. I can't lure the goo away from the food AND finish in less than half a minute.
Save the Dinosaurs Hard- I can't even get better than bronze. Too Hard!!
Cow Crossing Hard- This level is like Hovershield. Harder than Machinelaser Hard!!
Hovershield- Soooooooo hard!! What were you thinking when you designed this evil level?! This competes with Cow Crossing Hard and Fast Eggs Hard for hardest level ever.

Any advice?

Off Topic / Great Level Idea for Tasty Planet 3
« on: January 28, 2012, 01:27:21 AM »
I think there should be a tick level. Ticks can grow to 600 times their own size, so it would be interesting. Of course, there would be other entities, but the ticks would be the highlight.
