Disabling footprints

First, thanks for this great game!

I was wondering if there was some way to disable the trail of footprints; I can't find anything in the options menu, and I've poked around a bit in the XML files but nothing there either. I have a friend who swears this is an option though -- am I maybe using an old version of the game? I bought it right when it was first released but I've just returned to it recently..

You are correct - you can disable footprints from the options menu but that feature wasn't in the very first version that we released. Send me your order info (your name and email) and I'll get you the latest version of the game.
